Catering from The Goldfinch

We cater the way we'd want to be catered for: food that turns up when it said it would, set out so people can help themselves, and good enough that somebody asks where it came from.

Breakfast meetings, office lunches, birthdays, wakes, launch nights. If you can tell us roughly how many and roughly when, we can usually work out the rest.

How it works

  • Tell us the date, the headcount and anything anyone can't eat. That's enough to start.
  • We come back with a menu and a price — no deposit until you've seen both and said yes.
  • We deliver, set it out, and leave it looking like somebody meant it.

Worth telling us

  • Allergies and dietaries. There's a box for it below, and it goes straight onto the kitchen's sheet in red. Please use it rather than mentioning it in passing.
  • Where it's actually going — the floor, the buzzer, whether there's a lift. That's the part that costs ten minutes on the day.
  • Whether you need plates, napkins and serving spoons, or you've got them.

How much notice, and when it's paid

  • Up to 20 people — 24 hours.
  • More than 20 — 48 hours.

We make catering once it's paid, so that notice covers both: the order and the payment need to be in by then. You'll get an invoice you can pay by card or bank transfer, and the food is booked in the moment it clears.

Tighter than that, ask anyway. Send the form and then ring us — we'll tell you straight whether the kitchen has the room.

Box lunches? Order them yourself

If it's individual box lunches, you don't need to wait on us — pick them on the site, name each box, and we'll label them. Everything else, the form below is the way in.

Tell us what you need

Fill in what you know — we'll take it from there. Only your name, email and the date are needed to start.
